The New Clink Shop!

The Clink Room is proud to unveil our new Clink shop! That’s right, it’s back and better than ever. You asked for it, you got it! A whole shop with nothing but hats designed by Brandiose and Clinkers. We appreciate your patience as we made the full transition, but we know you’re going to love the Clink touches that you’ll experience throughout the entire hat buying process. We’ve got lots of new designs and fun promotions coming down the pipe. Thanks, as always, for supporting what we’re doing here in The Clink Room. It’s going to be a lot of fun! Head over to the new Clink store and nose around!

Kick this weekend’s ass Clinkers!

March 2013 Round Up

More Hometown League entries Monday. But to finish up the week I want to do a quick round up from the Clinkuverse.

Check the pre-buzz for the Fightins’ inaugural season. Pretty cool. It’s going to be an exciting season for all our teams this year. The air is electric with a bright summer ahead for Minor League Baseball.

I found a real life version of Tom’s Sewer Gators. Terrifying and incredible.

Here is a robot bar in Tokoyo. You’re welcome…

And how about this for national news. The Leigh Valley Iron Pigs got a lot of PR yesterday when they announced their Urinal Games. What are Urinal Games? Why video games that you control with your pee of course. Head over here to get the story from Reuters.

I’ve been asked by a few people what kind of pencils and erasers we use around the office. Here’s what I recommend. A Papermate Tuff Stuff Eraser Stick and a Staedtler 925 .03 mechanical pencil.

Kick this weekend’s ass Clinkers and have a Happy Easter!

Thanks Brand New!

You guys familiar with Brand New? It’s a pretty great site and not just cause they honored us with 2 spots on this year’s Top 10 of the B-sides in logo design! We’re pretty pumped.

Reading Fightins placed no. 7 and Stockton placed no. 1! Look, end of the year “best of” lists matter about as much as a new Doritos flavor. But hey, they’re fun as hell and we’re super flattered! Thanks Brand New and UnderConsideration! Check out the entire list here.

Round the Clink-Uverse

Man, lots of cool messages from the outer Clink-uverse. Here are some of the best…

Here’s Russell Wilson, QB for the Seattle Seahawks, sporting our Asheville Tourists uniform and logo that we designed while he summons his inner Bo Jackson, excelling in baseball and football. Thanks Clint!

Here’s Jared Fanning’s pin board in his studio. We’re honored to have Clink be so heavily represented. Thanks Jared!

Here’s the Omaha Storm Chasers Triple-A Championship ring with our “O” bolt logo we designed. First Lil Wayne now the logo is incased in gold and diamonds. That little design is living a lavish lifestyle.

Lastly, one of the coolest photos we’ve ever gotten here at Clink HQ, this amazing framed Clink tableau, featuring our tissue paper, patches, tags, and signed post card. So flattered Scott! Thank you!

Round the Clink-uverse

Every once in a while we like to rundown what’s going on in the Clink-uverse. Here tiz is.

How come I’ve never heard of the the Pixar short “Partly Cloudy”? It’s spectacular! Good God these guys are amazing.

What does that video short have to do with the Clink-uverse? When we were in the Bay Area a few months ago we drove around the Pixar campus just to see if some of that pixie dust (Pixar Dust?) would rub off. Here’s a picture from the rental car as we creepily rolled by. I think I heard the guard yell, “Stalker!”

(NSFW-ish) Here is a really cool video featuring an amazing song by Le1f. He’s wearing wearing a jersey emblazoned with the logos, wordmark, and numbers that we designed for Mishka.

And here’s the world’s most disgusting jersey design.

1011 Posts Strong!

This is our 1011 post! Yay for us! I meant to celebrate the 1000 mark but I guess that’s what happens when your having fun. Thank you to all the Clinkers for making posting on Clink one of the best parts of my day. You make a lowly art school grad who can barely spell feel pretty good about himself. Thank you, for your support, for you comments, for grabbing a hat from the store, for submitting a design. Thank you. Here’s to 1011 more!
