The Shrike is a small songbird that is an unusually efficient predator of insects, lizards, rodents and even other birds. It’s nickname “Butcher bird“, comes from its technique of impaling its prey on thorns so it can feed at its leisure. Badass. Using the St. Louis Cardinals slugger bird as inspiration, this little monster is poised to make his presence felt...with cold steel.
