About This Design
Back in the summer of 2021, some of the worst fires in history were burning across my home state of Colorado, as well as out west in California. The fires were overwhelming the brave firefighters trying to help fight them, and the 747 Supertanker was flying back and forth helping to fight these fires. I decided I wanted to do a design, during that time, which honors the firefighters and all they did to save people's homes, jobs and lives. In the end I thought the Supertanker dropping down over the flames was a powerful image that was being circulated in the media, and it all came together in the form of this design. All of the royalties from this hat will be donated directly to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation and the Colorado Wildfire Recovery Fund to help support firefighters and civilians who have had their lives directly affected by these massive fires.
