Best Friends was a concept inspired by my dog, Rallo. Unfortunately, we will have to put him down within the week after 15+ years of loyal companionship. Rallo has been the best bud and dedicated sidekick to the family. I don't remember a time without him, honestly. Nothing made him happier than his tennis ball. Back in his prime, I never saw a dog go after a ball with more intensity than he did. It was his obsession. I brought this concept to Jay Matz over 2 years ago. We got it approved and have been waiting for it to hit the shop since then. Casey and the good folks at The Clink Room were good enough to put it in the shop this week, and I will forever be appreciative. I guess it was meant to be that it hit the shop when it did instead of back in the day. A special thank you to Jay, who took time and care with this design, knowing how important it was to me. It was his idea to add the tennis ball as the framing when I originally just wanted them walking into the sunset. This change improved the design so much so thank you! And thank you for making the dog look so much like Rallo. Seeing an image that looks just like him means so much to me. We hope all of the Clinkers out there can relate to the feeling of spending time with their loyal companion and tossing the ball around for a few minutes each day to help make their pup as happy as can be.
