About This Design
"Fire Hawk" is a term given 3 species of native raptors here in Australia that have been seen to purposely pick up smoldering sticks from bush fires and move them into other areas to start new fires, this flushes out prey from their hiding spots and into the open. This is a hunting method the Australian Aboriginal people have used for thousands of years, and its believed fire hawks may have learned to mimic this technique by observing them.
