This mask serves as a symbol for various purposes. Firstly to ward off evil spirits, a symbol of protection. In Japanese theater, these characters were portrayed as tricksters that would bring laughter and joy to the audience. Lastly, for warriors it was held as a symbol of power to scare and intimidate their foes. May this fitted hat bring you these same gifts, to protect you from malevolence, to inspire laughter, and to bring you power in your times of need.
