About This Design
Tlaxcalli is the Nahuatl name for tortilla. This design tried to highlight the Mexican tradition of tortilla-making. Since pre-Hispanic times, Mexicans have been responsible for growing corn and making tortillas (with all the work that entails). This work and effort are the cornerstone of our gastronomy.
