About This Design
Based on the image of the Buddhist monk Bodhidharma, the daruma doll is a symbol of good luck and perseverance. The idea is that a person would fill in one eye with a goal in mind and every time you see the doll you are reminded of that goal. The image of the "one-eyed" daruma to me is a symbol of always striving to be better and the keep growing. Hopefully the design keeps you motivated in your dreams, goals and hopefully gives you some good luck!
