About This Design
This is another design inspired by a family trip out West this summer. We drove through a very large herd of bison in the Lamar Valley of Yellowstone National Park. The are so large and loud, it's not hard to figure out why they would say the herds sounds like thunder back in the day. So "Thunder Bison" was born. I wanted to experiment with an electrically charged bison with lighting around him and defining his silhouette. So, I looked at how they did the effects for Thor in the Marvel movies- glowing eyes with arcs swirling around him. He's kind of Thor-tanka.
