I have been wanting to do a fossil design for a long time. I especially think the specimens of the fight scenes or whole body examples are really cool. It's neat to think that something can be preserved forever under the right circumstances. Somewhat like the way an iconic moment can be preserved forever. What better thing to do than merge the two ideas. One of the most iconic baseball plays/poses I could think of is the over the shoulder Willie Mays play, "the catch." So here's a design of a fossil frozen in time right in the middle of that type of iconic play.
