About This Design
They might not have warning track power and are little more accustomed to blooping it over the infielder’s heads. What they lack in sluggin’, they make up for with some mean pickin’ and grinnin’. I’ve always gotten a funny image in my head when the term “Banjo Hitter” is used in baseball terms, referring to a weak batter who usually hits singles and has a low slugging percentage. I thought I would bring that image to life with a character actually swinging a banjo with the twanging sound referenced with some notes as he swings through.
