About This Design
This collaboration is a tribute to the game of "Loteria", this game, brought from Europe and popularized in Mexico at the time of Independence, when soldiers played this game to entertain themselves and pass the time. When the war of independence ended, the soldiers who returned to their hometowns taught and popularized the game among citizens and over the years, the game began to be present at fairs, parties and meetings. In the game, one person is in charge of having in their possession a deck of 54 cards with illustrations of characters and everyday objects (The Rooster, The Ladder, The Devil, The Drunkard, etc.), each participant in the game has a board which has 16 random illustrations of the cards that are in the main deck. The person in charge of the main deck draws cards and shouts the name of each card. The players must mark the character or object mentioned on their board if it is illustrated on their board. The winner will be the first to mark each of the 16 illustrations that appear on his board!
