‘Twas the eerie eve of Halloween, when the moon hung high, casting long, jagged shadows over the town. All had donned their ghastly guises, but none more sinister than Jack. Tired of his usual haunt, he slipped into a tattered cloak, its edges frayed by time, and grasped a scythe rusted from seasons spent abandoned in a forsaken cornfield. With a flicker of mischievous light in his carved grin, Jack became something new—a harbinger of fright, a specter of the harvest night. They whispered his name in fear: Jack-o-Ripper.
