A Mexican designer, who believes that designs inspired by Mexican history and culture are the best way he can help promote a positive vision of México. Jacobo considers it not only a great opportunity as a designer, but also as a responsibility as a Mexican to represent his people and his roots.
Inspired by Mictecacíhuatl queen of the underworld in Mexica mythology. Death for the Mexicans was neither the end of the road nor the beginning of a wandering of sorrows and pains, death represented an essential part of life to which they should give themselves with love and happiness. Beliefs that have prevailed over the years and that are reflected in the way Mexicans perceive death to this day through the Day of the Dead festivities.
