About This Design
Anyone who knows me knows that I’m a big Timberwolves fan so this was especially fun to do. In October of 1986, a “Name the Team” contest was held to come up with a nickname for a potential expansion team for Minnesota. The contest came down to the Timberwolves and the Polars with the Timberwolves being the winners. So what if instead the Polars were the winners? I used a bear paw print for the foundation of the design and from there I had to use the trees from the old Timberwolves logo and jerseys which are my all time favorite jerseys.
