About This Design
The Painted Bunting has been referred to as the most beautiful bird in North America. It’s as if each part of the bird has been boldly painted with a brush. I wanted to play off the name “painted” bunting and showcase the bright beauty of this bird. I thought it only fitting to have him perched on a paintbrush. I wanted to utilize a white front crown color blocking to reference the blank canvas before being painted on.
