About This Design
Ancient Egyptians associated Scarabs with resurrection. It was thought that the Sun would die each night and reappear as a beetle each morning. I was recently in Egypt and their culture inspired me for this design. I really had a feeling that I should somehow honor my visit there. Therefore, the Scarab was born.
