Fastball, curveball, sinker, slider, change-up, knuckleball. In baseball, there’s a variety of different pitches, each named to reflect the ball’s unique trajectory and style of grip. Somewhere in the fringes of the sport exists a pitch that defies conventions. Named to reflect its somewhat unstable nature, it commands the ball to take trajectories often wildly different than initially intended. With a style that tips a cap to '80s pop-culture – particularly graphic art emanating from California's skateboard and surf scene – comes a design for all the fellow screwballs out there.
