My son and nephew started to get into bike tricks this summer. They earned a hat design with scraped knees and elbows. The bunny hop is kind of like Bike Tricks 101 and has been since I was a kid. I'd say besides the wheelie, this is the one trick almost everyone has at least heard of. The riders who get the best height have the same posture: head low, butt way out in back. I figured an actual bunny would be great at this. The trick was trying to draw a bunny doing this while walking the line of cartoony and anatomically correct bunny. There's so much going on between the bike and the bunny that I really wanted to keep the art as simple as possible. I think the blue, yellow and pink colors give it a fun, springtime feel. Hope you like it!
