The entire Big 5 concept is one I came up with while on a work trip to South Africa last year. While there I took a day to explore and go on a legit safari. I learned that for many, the goal is to spot the Big 5 while on any safari. They are the lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and cape buffalo. These are some of the most difficult and elusive animals to find in the wild. Seeing all five in one day is considered extremely rare. So I put together a group of some of the best designers The Clink Room has ever seen to bring my Big 5 concept to life! I have worked with Rafael a few times in the past and really enjoyed the experience. Also, who else would you ask to join the team to design animals other than Rafael, the Animal Man?! Rafael had arguably the most challenging task of all, to design all 5 animals in one design. At first, I recommended having the animals side by side in silhouette, but Rafael was determined to avoid that. It was really important for him to show these animals well-lit and with as much detail as possible, which is very challenging with five animals in one design. I was skeptical, but Rafael proved me wrong. He came up with a beautiful design that showcases all five animals and doesn't sacrifice anything. Rafael took on a huge challenge and absolutely crushed it! We hope you like it!
