About This Design
I looked into bucks locking antlers in battle and was really surprised to see some of the aftermath! Sometimes the winner will rip out the antlers altogether from his opponents head! I even saw one where the winning buck had ripped the entire head off of the other one and was walking around with it stuck onto his antlers! So the idea of incorporating the shape of a skull came about because these can end up being a truly deadly battle.
