We started this design with one objective: to raise donations and awareness for the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ+ young people under 25. Matt, Thomas, and I have arranged for all of our commissions to be donated to this organization. I needed creative help with choosing a symbol for this piece, so I reached out to Matt and his husband Thomas. They came up with the perfect icon of internal strength, compassion, and steadfastness. In short: it’s Bully-Proof. The phrase is “With Liberty and Justice For All”.
