August 10th, 2022. My daughter was playing in the waves at our favorite spot on the beach. I turned away for less than 2min, and when I turned back, a rip tide had rolled in and had started sucking her back. I went in to get her, and almost drowned in the process. This design is an artistic representation of my soul being sucked out of my body that day. And so far, it has yet to return.
