About This Design
As a kid I remember playing in a few double headers and thought it was awesome to be playing baseball all day. A rare occurrence in the Majors these days but still prevalent in college and the minor leagues. I still think it's pretty cool to be able to play ball under the sun and under the moon all in one day. For the design, I thought I could take the sun and moon and split it down the middle to reference two heads and a day and night game. I put a little eye black under the eye of the sun and made the eye on the moon look a little tired, but still happy to be out there for the game it loves. As Cubbie Ernie Banks who was always a fan of the double header was famous for saying "It's a beautiful day for a ballgame ... Let's play two!"
