Born in El Salvador and now living in Toronto, Canada, SierraGonz uses his design talent to honor his Meso-American heritage.
El Sombrerón is a legendary folklore character and one of the most famous legends of Central America. A man dressed in all black, a large hat, covering most of his face, with striking red eyes that glow in the dark. He likes to ride horses and braid their tails and manes. He also likes to court young ladies who have long hair and big eyes. When he likes one in particular, he follows her, braids her hair, and serenades her with his silver guitar; but he also puts soil in her plate resulting in her not being able to eat or sleep. Legend says El Sombrerón appears at dusk.
