The Sakura(Cherry Blossom) has long been a symbol of the fleeting beauty of life. It has also come to be recognized as a sign of rebirth. As spring breaks forth on a new day the guardian mother awaits for the eminent return of her warrior husband with their child in her arms. Their hearts beating in unison full of HOPE that soon they will truly know PEACE. Greg wanted a piece to pay tribute to his wife who happens to be from Japan and had the great idea to use the samurai helmet as a border. Having spent sometime in Japan myself and loving the trip, I hoped to do my best to help bring HOPE to life in a special way'
