About This Design

This is another concept from deep in the sketchbook. I've always loved the World War II slogan "loose lips sink ships" and I'm a huge fan of all propaganda poster art from that era. So I thought I'd put a twist on the concept by telling the story of a small crew of sailors, carrying a treasure across the sea. But the night before their journey, one crew member had too much fun with a bar attendants in the inn and told her all about their mission after one too many strong ales. Of course the bar attendant knows something valuable when she sees it and quickly told tale to the local pirates so they could plan their midnight marauding.
