This is my third swing at The Old Fashioneds for The Clink Room, and I think I finally got it right! (It was the first-ever idea I submitted 2 years ago and has changed dramatically.) An old-fashioned design for an old-fashioned drink... it's done in the style of the retro two-color designs they would do for old baseball programs. This is a tribute to the BRANDY Old Fashioned (or whiskey, if you're less civilized) a staple of Friday fish fry, trips Up Nort', supper clubs, weddings... pretty much anything. I take mine "sweet." There's an orange in the background, his bat is a muddler (no mixes here), and he's swinging at a cherry. He's scowling, so I guess the BATTER could be the BITTERS!
