This piece is inspired by an iconic summer treat that kids all over America would chase down ice cream trucks for a chance to eat when I was growing up. It takes the idea of a space shuttle rocket ship and the iconic icy treat and combines them in one form that celebrates summer and sweets, as well as space and the American icons who have travelled outside of the Earth. This piece will make you feel like you're among the cosmos floating with the stars.
