About This Design
Remember the first time you heard your bike sound like a motorcycle all because of a baseball card slapping the spokes? Now, think of all those vintages cards of the 40s, 50s and 60s that were destroyed by kids who just wanted to sound cool when they rode down the block. How many Aarons, Mantles, Koufaxes, Gibsons or Clementes met their demise in bike spokes back in the day?
The Spoke Slappers design features the fictional 1954 card of Jimmy "The Motor" McGee of the Shreveport Spokes. Jimmy was so fast they said he could hit a double and be on second base before his bat even hit the ground. So, he was the perfect card to give your bike that "extra gear" to win neighborhood races. He's not mint condition anymore, but the memories are priceless!
