Introducing ‘Sumo Kong’, a GoodIdeaRyan & DAObiwan production. Known as the national sport of Japan, the earliest mentions of sumo can be found in the Kojiki manuscript from the year 712. The ancient manuscript describes how possession of the Japanese islands was decided in a wrestling match between the kami known as Takemikazuchi (the god of thunder, swordsmanship, and conquest) and Takeminakata (the god of water, wind, agriculture and hunting). This Sumo Kong is ready to battle any would be challengers who step into his dohyo (ring).
