Born in El Salvador and now living in Toronto, Canada, SierraGonz uses his design talent to honor his Meso-American heritage.
A tribute to my cultural roots, this hat is inspired by the Haab, a 365 days Mayan Calendar which was used by several cultures in Central America. Most famously the Maya civilization. The Haab is made up of 18 months of 20 days each and another final short month of only 5 days. The fourth Maya month glyph is called “Zotz’”. The meaning of this month glyphs is bat.
